Meet the founder

Ruben Nava founded SPS to make support feel more personal.

“I started SPS because I wanted veterans to have a more personal, straightforward option—one where they can ask questions, understand the process, and know who they are talking to.”

Ruben Nava · Founder, Service Path Solutions

SPS is designed around one consistent relationship. You should know who you are speaking with, understand the purpose of each stage, and hear the service boundaries before deciding whether to continue.

Why SPS exists

Clarity before action.

VA disability information can be difficult to organize even when a veteran has already gathered records, spoken with others, or tried to understand the process independently.

Make information usable

SPS helps organize records, dates, questions, and education topics into a clearer picture. The goal is not more noise—it is a more understandable path.

Keep the veteran in control

SPS explains and organizes. The veteran decides what to file, what to share, and whether to work with a VSO, accredited claims agent, or accredited attorney.

Set expectations early

The free call covers fit, scope, boundaries, and what may happen next. A call does not enroll anyone in paid services.

Protect sensitive records

Documents are never requested through the public website, ordinary email, text, or social media. A consent-based secure process applies only when SPS continues an evaluation.

What veteran-owned means here

Respect, direct communication, and no manufactured promises.

Veteran-owned is part of who SPS is; it is not a government credential or a substitute for VA accreditation. SPS does not use government seals, claim affiliation with VA, or suggest that shared veteran experience guarantees a result.

The SPS commitment

Be clear about the service.

  • Use understandable language
  • Explain the educational purpose of each step
  • Use fixed-fee pricing instead of a percentage
  • Protect sensitive documents through approved controls
  • Tell veterans when accredited representation may be appropriate
The SPS boundary

Never imply authority SPS does not have.

  • No VA affiliation or accreditation
  • No legal or medical advice
  • No filing or representation
  • No diagnosis, nexus opinion, or DBQ
  • No guaranteed rating, approval, or increase
